Weekly Update

These are the messages for the week of June 29 - July 5, 2009

There will be a modified practice schedule for seniors for the rest of the long course season:

ALL SENIORS WILL BE FROM 5:00 - 7:00pm M - F at the Nags Head YMCA

All other age groups will stay on their regular practice schedules for the remainder of the summer.

There will be a sign-up for summer awards up at the YMCA for the next week.  If you plan on swimming at summer awards, please sign-up quickly.

They are as follows:

Wednesday's practice for ALL 12 & Unders will be held at the YMCA at their regular practice times.

All of Thursday's practices are canceled.  If there is a desire to get a practice, it will be posted on the website.

All of Friday's practices will be as follows at the YMCA:
Seniors -- 5:00 - 7:00PM
11-12's -- 5:30 - 7:00PM
9-10's -- 6:00 - 7:00PM
8 & Unders -- 6:00 - 7:00PM

Thursday's practice has been canceled, due to Coach Craig being a brand NEW Uncle.  There will be written practices at the YMCA for anyone that has the desire to train.

We will be on regular practice schedule for the entire week.

Senior swimmers start their morning practice schedule this week.  These practices are from 7:00 - 9:00AM M-F

All 12 & Unders will be on the same practice schedule as the few weeks.

These are the messages for the week of June 8 - 14, 2009

We will be on regular practice schedule for the entire week with one change

Nags Head YMCA swimmers:  On Friday June 12, 2009, there will be an adjusted practice schedule:  8&Unders from 5:00 - 6:00PM ; 9-10's from 5:00 - 6:00PM ; 11-12's from 4:45 - 6:00PM ; seniors from 4:00 -  6:00PM.

Dear Swimmers and Parents:
On Sunday, June 14, Coach Matt will be chaperoning a trip to the matinee. We will be seeing UP! , the new Pixar movie. The movie starts at 1:40 pm and runs approximately an hour and a half. Please meet in front of the theater no later than 1:30 pm. Twelve dollars will cover the price of the movie and a bag of popcorn. Parents, brothers and sisters are all welcome to stay and enjoy the show. Hope to see you there!

Congratulations to all swimmers for swimming so well at this past weekend's OBX sponsored meet.  We ended up with 14 NEW TEAM RECORDS.  The new team record holders include Cecelia Cortez (8), Cam Leggat (8), Elise Gibbs (13) and Walker Ross (12).  Great job to all swimmers.  Individual meet results can be downloaded and viewed here:  Download Tmobxswimclubresults

Thanks again to all parents and volunteers that put this meet together.  You did an absolutely amazing job this past weekend.  Without you, this meet would not  have been available and possible.  Give yourselves a pat of the back for a job well done.
