These are the messages for the week of March 2 - 8, 2009
We will be on regular practice schedule for the week with a few changes
1.) There will be NO Saturday practice for any groups due to senior champs.
2.) There will be a combined practice on Thursday for all groups from 6:00 - 7:00PM
3.) There will be a combined practice on Friday for all groups from 5:30 - 6:30PM.
-- Congradulations to all swimmers that participated in the A/BB Championship meet this past weekend at the Mid-town Aquatic Center in Newport News. OBX Swim Club now has 1 swimmer going to senior champs. Drew Keenan (17) will represent the club this weekend swimming the 50 Free, 100 Free, 200 Free, 500 Free, 100 Fly & 200 I.M. . OBX Swim Club also has a NEW age group champ qualifier. The swimmer is Walker Ross (11), and he qualified for the 100 & 200 Backstroke. We will also have Elise Gibbs (13) that has already qualified for age groups in the 100 & 200 Breaststroke. Great Job to all swimmers.
