Weekly Update

These are the messages for the week of February 2 - 8, 2009

We will be on regular practice schedule for the week with one change

1.) On Friday February 6, 2009, there will be a combined practice for all 12 & Unders from 5:45 - 6:45PM.

There have been some changes to this weekend's meet. 

1.) There will now be three (3) sessions instead of two sessions.  The 10 & Unders will swim in the early morning.  The 11 - 12 year olds will will swim in the mid-day.  The 13 & Overs will swim in the afternoon.

The warm-up times are as follows:

SATURDAY:

MORNING  SESSION -  ALL  10  &  UNDERS
WARM-UPS:  6:30  A.M.     START:  7:30  A.M.

MID-AFTERNOON  SESSION -  ALL  11  &  12  YEAR  OLDS
WARM-UPS:  11:30  A.M.  START:  12:30  P,M,

LATE  AFTERNOON  SESSION - ALL  13  &  OVERS
WARM-UPS:  3:30  P.M.  START  4:30  P.M.

DISTANCE  SESSION  -  500  FREE  15  MINUTES  AFTER  THE

SUNDAY:

MORNING  SESSION -  ALL  10 &  UNDERS
WARM-UPS:  6:30  A.M.   START:  7:30  A.M.

MID  AFTERNOON  SESSION -  ALL 11  &  12  YEAR  OLDS
WARM-UPS:  11:30  A.M.  START:  12:30  P.M.

AFTERNOON  SESSION -  ALL  13  &  OVERS
WARM-UPS:  3:00  P.M. -  START  4:00  P.M.

DISTANCE  SESSION  -  1000  FREE  STARTS  15  MINUTES

Separate warm-ups for the OBX Swim Club will be offered by Wednesday.  Please stay tuned.

--  The sign-up sheet for the B/C Awards is up on the bullentin board at the YMCA.  This meet is offered to all swimmers that are ''B'' time standards or less.  If there are any questions about whether your child(ren) should be enetred, please e-mail Craig at craig.bialorucki@gmail.com.  The sign-up deadline is Friday February 6, 2009.  There are NO e-mail sign-up that will be accepted.  If the swimmer's name is NOT on the sign-up sheet by the deadline date, those swimmers will not be entered in the meet.

--  The sign-up sheet for A/BB Champs will be on the bullentin board on Tuesday February 3, 2009.  The sign-up deadline will be Friday February 13, 2009.
