Weekly Update

These are the messages for the week of December 29, 2008 - January 4, 2009

Happy New Year!!!!  Hope everyone is enjoying your break. 

Senior swimmers are returning from break on Friday January 2, 2009 at 4:00PM - 6:30PM.

                                                                    Saturday January 3, 2009 from 10:00AM - 1:00PM

All age group swimmers will retuen to practice on Monday January 5, 2009 at their regular practice times.

Weekly Update

These are the messages for the week of December 15 - 21, 2008

We will be regular practice schedule for the week with three changes

1.)  There will be No Tuesday morning practice for any seniors.  There will be a Thursday morning practice at 5:45 - 6:45AM for all Seniors

2.)  There will be NO practice for any practice groups on Wednesday due to a high school meet.

3.)  There will be a 8 & Under make-up practice on Thursday at their regular practice time.

This is the last week on practices before the holiday break.  The breaks are as follows:

All seniors will be on break from December 21 - January 1

All 12 & Unders will be on break from December 21 - January 4

If there are any children that want to stay in the water over break, there will be practices available with interest and an email.

Weekly Update

These are the messages for the week of December 8 - 14, 2008

We will be on regular practice schedule for the week, with 2 changes

1.)  There will be NO morning practice this week for any 13 & Overs

2.)  There will be NO practice for any groups on Wednesday December 10, 2008 due to the high school meet.

All children that swam at the Carolina Classic swam very well.  OBX Swim Club had many Life Time Best times on a majority of our events.  Great Job to all swimmers, and thanks to all parents for getting your children down there.

We also had a few 8 & Unders from OBX Swim Club at the TAC Winter Challenge meet.  Those swimmers consisted of Bryce Pugh, Max Janesik, and Kenzie Llyod.  Coach Matt says great job to all of you.

--  All meet results and new team records will be posted as soon as they are available

--  The OBX Swim Club Christmas party is this Saturday December 13, 2008 at the Gibbs' house.  If you have not RSVP'd, please do by e-mailing Debbie Gibbs @ dbegibbs@embarqmail.com.

TAC Meet Warm-up Times

Here is the warm-up schedule for all the 8 & Unders attending the meet this coming weekend:

Saturday & Sunday warm-ups -- 11:20 - 11:40AM

Please remember to arrive 15 minutes prior to the beginning of warm-ups

Here are some general directions to the pool:

From the north/south, follow I-64 to Exit 258 A, J Clyde Morris Boulevard. Take J. Clyde Morris Boulevard to Jefferson Avenue. Turn Left and go approximately 2.5 miles to MacLawhorne Drive. Turn right at the light. Pool is on the left.
