December Announcements

Seasons Greetings!

• Regular practice schedule the week of December 17 - 23rd.
• No practice December 24, 25, or 26.
• Swimmers attending the ODAC Training Camp will practice from 6-10 AM and 4-6 PM on December 27, 28, and 29, and from 6-10 AM on Saturday, December 30th.
• All other swimmers can practice from 6 - 7 PM on December 27, 28, and 29 regardless of age group. If you are available to swim, come to the pool!
• No practice December 31st and January 1st.
• The meet invitation for the 12 and Younger ODAC meet at Ft. Eustis is posted. Please double-check the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board to verify your participation on January 6 and 7.  Meet entries are made from this list.
• The next 13 and Older meet is January 19-21 at Ft. Eustis.

Swim Announcement December 10th

• No Senior group practice on Monday, December 11th.  All other practice groups will practice on Monday. Other than Monday, we are on a regular practice schedule.
• Looking ahead to January--12 and under meet on January 6-7 at Ft. Eustis. 13 and over meet on January 19-21 at Ft. Eustis.  Please check the Meet Sign-up List on the bulletin board and indicate if you are planning on attending the January meets. Thank you.
• Coach Craig congratulates all swimmers that participated in the Annapolis and WAC/B/C/Mini meets this past weekend.

Practice Changes

Coach's Report December 4th - 10th

1. Regular practice schedule for Monday and Tuesday only. Wednesday PM practices are cancelled due to the high school swim meet at the YMCA. Swim meet begins at 4:30 Wed.
2. Senior practice on Wednesday morning 6 - 7 AM. This is a meet warm-up and a required practice for seniors competing at Annapolis.
3. No practices Thursday - Sunday due to the Annapolis travel meet and the WAC B/C/Mini meet on Saturday and Sunday for 12 and younger swimmers.
4. Swimmers going to the WAC B/C/Mini meet will be coached and supervised by ODAC. They have offered their services to our team. We do not have an assistant coach and I will be in Annapolis. Good luck, swimmers!
5. Swimmers going to Annapolis have travel itineraries. Meet at Home Depot on Thursday at 2:45 PM. We will leave at 3 PM. Do not be late.
6. T-shirts are being distributed. The black t-shirts can be picked up at the high school meet on Wed. evening if you want them for the weekend.
7. Warm-ups are in and are being embroidered. They will be ready soon.
