Chris Feaster is in his sixth season with the Pirates as the head assistant and his ninth year overall coaching on the Division I level. A native of Jupiter, Fla., Feaster swam on the NCAA Division I level for four-years and was a member of Old Dominion's school record
200 Medley Relay team . He completed his undergraduate degree in psychology and earned his M.S. in Athletic Administration at ODU in 1998.
While pursuing his graduate degree, Feaster served as the assistant coach at ODU for three years. During his tenure, their men's team won the 1998 Colonial Athletic Association championships and finished undefeated at 12-0. Feaster also had experience coaching the National Team for the Long Island Aquatic Club and the 1998 Goodwill Games. He has produced a number of CAA, ECAC and Conference USA Individual champions. Feaster works with ECU’s IM/Stroke group and is a very knowledgeable stroke technician. In 2001,2002, and 2003, athletes in his group were awarded the men's and women's team most valuable awards and 2003 Conference USA Swimmer of the Year
honor.
He currently is coaching swimmers that are ranked in the Top 20 at the NCAA Division I Level for ECU. He is very involved in coaching clinics throughout the east coast including ODU, UNC-Chapel Hill, and the ECU Pirate Swim Camps. He has been on coaching staffs that have been awarded the Colonial Athletic Association and Conference-USA Coach of the Year Honors.

Swimmers must be able to swim 100 yards continuously in order to participate
(Junior Group and up).
The clinic is also being promoted to local high
school swimmers and the first 30 registrations will be accepted.
